Vote for Leaders,not party

Disclaimer: I am not inclined towards any political party.
In democratic India,I strongly believe we need good leadership to lead our country to rise and compete with the world.
We have seen numerous parties come and rule us and there is no difference in the way government runs.
Every party has a list of scams, corrupt politicians, party leadership trying to cover it all up,crores of illegal money to spend on buying MLA,MP's and to buy people's votes.
Even the 'Party with a difference' has the above assets.

In my opinion, every party is the same. They are ready to put their interests before the countrys' when it comes to gaining power and staying in power.

Among the numerous issues,I would like to take up one example,The issue of Kashmir.
I have known about the India -Kashmir- Pakistan issue since age 7 or 8,and even till this date the situation has not changed a bit. There were killings, bomb attacks, cross border terrorism then and they exist even today also.Thats about 18-20 yrs period.Imagine the life, the people of Kashmir lived all these years and their future. What about the kids growing there, all the human rights violations and constant military surveilance. Can we imagine living like that for our entire life? Why not end this issue by doing whatever it takes and give the people of Kashmir a normal life like we all live.
The BJP accused congress of not acting sternly against pakistan and the terrorists, and when they came to power they failed too.
Simply put,the political parties do not have the will to resolve this issue. One party wants to appease the minorities and the other sides with the majority.I am sure this would continue for years to come no matter which party comes to power.

And recollect,
How Indira Gandhi crushed the terrorism in Punjab and how Nitish Kumar has changed the face of Bihar.
Examples of what great leaders are capable of.

So do not worry about who your PM or CM will be,do not fall for the statements about how any party will make India a developed country.
A developed India is when all states of India are developed.
A devloped Karnataka is when each constituency in Karnataka is developed.
You get it right,Decide who your MLA or MP should be and vote for a clean leader who can give good governance in your constituency.
If there is none, vote for the best among the worst.

Vote for Leaders,not party.

  1. Hii le,
Tumba broad issue le and the thing is we need negative voting. we need to express our view that I hate this guy and i never want him as our leader. The one who gets maximum negative votes must be debarredd from contesting elections thereafter, coz parties can buy positive votes but can never influence to vote agianst a good man I feel personally.
The second thing is making it a compulsory voting. 63% voting leaves the rest 37% voices unheard. Governments should cut incentives for non-voting, and even make it a legal issue. people might vote then atleast out of fear.
And the irony of our politics is - while I ws typing this reply to you watching television. Mr. A Raja was welcomed by thousands of DMK workers in chennai airport as if he is a hero.
    Pity us!

  3. Guys,
We are right on our thinking and pointing out these issues, but just thinking and pointing won't change the issue as we don't have in depth knowledge of Governance and Law. Along with thinking we should work towards executing our thoughts. We should seek ways to change the governance, we should see different ways in which these issue can get addressed in places which can make changes to the Governance. If a MBA grad can change the fate of a company, then bunch of such guys can definitely change fate of a Governance. Internet is powerful medium of expressing our opinions, we should use this medium to reach people who can make changes, we should work to find them!!
I don't know if what-ever I'm saying is practical but yes, it is achievable.
