What if ?

The central govt spends 30+ crores every year to spread the usage of Hindi across India.

And now karnataka's 'kannada mattu samskruti ilaakhe' recently sponsored a sanskrit book fair in Bengaluru apart from announcing to establish a sanskrit university in Karnataka.

What these governments,atleast the Karnataka government fails to see is the need to save and promote the languages indigenious to Karnataka like Kannada,Tulu,kodava etc.
Instead money and resources are spent on introducing languages which do not have any connection with the people except in textbooks.

Do we have a university for studying the Tulu and Kodava languages?
Can the people of Mangalore and Kodagu learn these languages in school?
What steps have been taken to popularise and spread these languages?(atleast we have not seen any)

Simply put,has the govt done its part to save own languages before help spreading the other languages.

What if Hindi is widely spoken - It need not be imposed on the entire nation.
What if Sanskrit was supposedly spoken by gods - First concentrate on languages being spoken now.

India has 22 National languages including Kannada,Telugu,Malayalam,Tamil etc.

Sanskrit is not the mother of all languages of India.
Sanskrit is an aryan language.
Kannada,Tamil,Malayalam,Tulu,Telugu are all dravidian languages and are not dervied from sanskrit.

The site kannadaaudio.com which hosted different forms of kannada songs like folk,devotional and movie songs has removed the collection of movie songs from its database.Thanks to the movie SUPER by Upendra.

SUPER movie songs were also available in the site as any other new movie and the producers felt this was another form of piracy and shut down the site for a few days.
The site was back online but without any movie songs altogether.

Kannadaaudio.com was just a online streaming of songs and not a free download site.
Consider the free publicity and hype this website was providing for all the newly releasing movies.

How will the people get information about new movie songs being released if these kind of sites are shutdown?
How will the producers plan to reach the overseas kannadigas?

The movie industry needs to get serious in marketing and get some lessons to use the Internet to their advantage.

ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫ಼ೊರ್ನಿಯಾದ ಬೇ ಏರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ SP ಬಾಲಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ರವರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೆಡೆಯಿತು.
ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ SPB ಅವರ ಕಂಠದಿಂದ ಡಾ.ರಾಜ್,ಶ್ಂಕರ್ ನಾಗ್,ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.
SPB ಅವರು ಅಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಗಾಯಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ಅಹಂ ಇಲ್ಲ,ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೌರವ ನೀಡುವಂತವರು ಮತ್ತು ೬೫ ವರ್ಷವಾದರೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ೧೮ ವರ್ಷದ ಹುಡುಗನಂತೆ ಲವಲವಿಕೆ ಅವರದು.
ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ SPB,ಅವರ ತಂಗಿ,ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಮಹಿಳೆ,ಆಂಧ್ರದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗ ಮತ್ತು ತಬಲ,ಸ್ಯಾಕ್ಸೊಫೋನ್ ನುಡಿಸುವ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಆಂಧ್ರದ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಇದ್ದರು.
SPB ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಉಳಿದವರಿಗ್ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಬರದಿದ್ದರೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು.

ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನೆನಪಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೋಡಿದ ಖುಷಿ ಆಯಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೆಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕಲಾಲಯ ಎನ್ನುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗು ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫ಼ೊರ್ನಿಯಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟವಾದ ಕೆ.ಕೆ.ಎನ್.ಸಿ ಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಖುಷಿಯಿದೆ.
ಆದರೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ಶ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಗಮನಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ.SPB,ಹಾಡು ಹೇಳುವವರು,ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಾಧನ ನುಡಿಸುವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥ್ತೆಇವರ್ಯಾರೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರು ಅಥವಾ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದವರಲ್ಲ.
ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡಲು ಕಲಿತವರು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಕ್ಕಾಲು ಭಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬರದೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ನನ್ನ ಕ್ಯಾತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರ ಮೇಲಲ್ಲ.ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಯಾವ ಭಾಷೆಯಾದರೇನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಾಡು ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕು ಬೇರೆ ಭಾಷೆಯವರು,ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಾಧನ ನುಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕು ಬೇರೆ ಭಾಷೆಯವರು..ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವವರೂ ಕೂಡ ತಮಿಳರೋ,ತೆಲುಗರೋ...
ಮತ್ತೆ ಕನ್ನಡದವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ??? ಹಾಡು ಕೇಳಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ತಟ್ಟಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಷ್ಟೇನಾ?

ಅಲ್ಲ,ಬೇರೆ ಭಾಷೆಯವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿತು ಇಂತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೀಡಿ ಹಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ತಾ ಇರ್ಬೆಕಾದ್ರೆ,ನಮ್ಮವ್ರಿಗೆ ಎನಾಗಿದೆ ದಾಡಿ.
ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಕ್ರಿಷ್ಣನ್,ಹೇಮಂತ್,ಗುರುಕಿರಣ್,ಚೈತ್ರಾ,ಹರಿಕ್ರಿಷ್ಣ,ಪುನೀತ್,ಗಣೇಶ್,ಸುದೀಪ್ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲ ಈ ತರ ತಂಡ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೀಡೋಕಾಗಲ್ವ?
ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾಕ?
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಇರಲಿ,ಭಾರತ ಇರಲಿ,ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ಭಾಗ ಇರ್ಲಿ..ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ್ವಾ? ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೇನೇ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೂಡ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗೋದು..
ಇದು ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆದಾಯ ತರಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡತ್ತೆ..

ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ,ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ,ಕನ್ನಡ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಇಂಥದ್ದೂಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ತಾವೇ ನೆಡೆಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡಚಲನಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಈಗ ಇರುವ ಆದಾಯ ಸಾಕ?ಇಂತ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ರೀತಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಬೇಡ್ವಾ?
